The 2012 Cuvée Élisabeth Salmon Rosé is a radiant and intricately detailed expression of a standout vintage in Champagne—one that combined richness and ripeness with fine acidity and structural clarity. The blend is composed of approximately 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, with 7–8% still Pinot Noir added for color and aromatic depth. The wine spent nearly 10 years on the lees before disgorgement and was finished with a restrained dosage of around 6 g/L, allowing the purity of fruit and terroir to shine. In the glass, it offers a delicate salmon hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is exquisitely layered, with aromas of wild strawberry, blood orange, white cherry, rose petal, and dried herbs, interwoven with hints of chalk, spice, and pastry cream.
