Medieval hamlets like that of Castell’in Villa date back to the 1200s and remain among Chianti’s top-quality estates. Located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the southernmost part of the Chianti Classico zone, Castell’in Villa is one of the oldest estates in the DOC.
