Christopher Deas, Italian Wine Merchants: "There is no denying this is a generous and concentrated red wine bordering on the exotic that begins with that softer glycerin texture that is often a signature of Priorat, but with aeration this wine integrates well, and begins to show its structure and true terruno underneath. You can expect to find nuances of black cherry, kirsch, wild berries, plum, licorice, crushed violets, mountain herbs, tar, stony, salty and savory at the core, even a touch of smoke and blood orange join the party. There is a different kind of minerality of crushed rock and slate that speak to the land. It is concentration with elegance and a true sense of place. This wine simply tastes and smells like Priorat."
