The 2020 vintage shows a deep garnet hue and a brilliant aromatic range: crème de cassis, ripe raspberry, strawberry, juniper berry, peppery garrigue and tobacco leaf herald the arrival of something special.  On the palate it is full‑bodied and vibrant, with layers of dark fruit, spice and leather, fine yet firm tannins, lively acidity and an energetic mineral core. The balance between intensity and finesse signals both immediate appeal and serious cellar potential. 

Domaine du Pégau lies among the most respected estates of the Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape appellation, steeped in history and deeply rooted in tradition. Managed by the Féraud family—Paul and Laurence—the domaine farms old‑vine terroirs of sand, galets roulés and clay in multiple historic parcels. Their approach emphasises whole‑cluster fermentation in cement vats, aging in venerable foudres, and minimal intervention, yielding wines that fuse power, elegance and a true sense of place.
