L'Invitta Fiano di Morigerati is clearly a captivating wine! The description of its appearance as "bright and brilliant straw yellow" sets the stage for a visually appealing experience. The minerality, compared to a sea breeze, suggests a distinctive, refreshing quality. The bouquet of broom, white melon, pineapple, hazelnut, and Mediterranean scrubland paints a picture of a complex and aromatic profile. These notes suggest a wine with layers of freshness and a touch of the exotic. On the palate, the extreme freshness and salty character indicate a vibrant, invigorating taste. The finish described as "iodized balms" hints at a lingering, nuanced conclusion, perhaps with a subtle salinity that enhances its overall complexity. It's a wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, especially those with Mediterranean flavors.

Morigerati Fiano Mediterraneo L'Invitta 2022 750ml Description

L'Invitta Fiano di Morigerati is the unique wine of the project that bears the name of a small Cilento village in the province of Salerno located in the "Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park". The fundamental objective is the enhancement of the wine-growing potential of Cilento and its ancestral slowness. The project, of which Bruno De Conciliis of Tempa di Zoe is part, develops on 4 vineyards (for a total of about 9 hectares) planted between 2011 and 2012, between 600 and 800 meters above sea level, with decisively different soil and climate characteristics (in summary, quartz-sands, marly clays, and calcareous breccias), all cultivated with Fiano, all contributing to Invitta, produced in a limited edition of 2000 bottles. The grape harvest takes place in mid-September, the grapes ferment in steel, and the wine then matures between steel and 15% exhausted barriques, partially undergoing malolactic fermentation.
