The IWM signature remains my “go-to” house rose. A unique blend of Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile, a Sangiovese clone, the 2024 release challenges last year’s performance. In 2024, there is a little more color, ripeness, and berry fruit to join that signature zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay to the wine. It’s a Rosé that challenges Provence for value and character! Expect to find wild strawberries, tart cherries, and nectarines that stain the palate, along with citrus, herbs, salinity and that great Sangiovese spine of acidity that quietly builds for a long, savory finish. ~ Christopher Deas, IWM
