The 2020 MarMar is a barrel selection based on the fruits of a cool and chalky plot of the Forster Ungeheuer grand cru. Pretty different from all the other Rieslings of the domaine, the MarMar opens with intense and concentrated ripe fruit intermingled with iodine notes and also sur lie and oak aromas. Round, lush and creamy on the palate, this is a full-bodied, dense and powerful, concentrated, sweet and saline Riesling with fine tannins and lingering vibrancy.
